Claz’room College Rolls Out Red Carpet for High School Filmmakers​

Claz’room College has just wrapped up its momentous high school showdown. The National High School Short Film Competition, which ran since 12 June 2023, recently had its grand Award Ceremony, and it was indeed a memorable event! This competition brought together more than 40 groups of high school students aged 14 to 18, all equipped with cameras and a vision to make it big in the world of cinema.

Yang Berbahagia Datuk Kamil Othman, Chairman of the National Film Development Corporation Of Malaysia (FINAS), graced the occasion, along with other distinguished judges: Mr. Yoon Choong Yul, a world-renowned Movie VFX Director from South Korea and Director of Show VFX Studio Malaysia; To’ Puan Lam Leepin from the Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur; Ms. Tung Yan Ning, Managing Director of Claz’room College; and Mr. Ng Kim Boon, Faculty Lead for Film Visual Effects at Claz’room College.

Now, onto the most exciting part—the awards! This was no ordinary kind of deal. We’re talking about scholarships worth over RM120,000 and cash prizes and valuable items worth over RM15,000.
